Educators & Caregivers

The stories I write are rooted in the small, meaningful moments that shape how children understand themselves and one another. They are gentle, character-driven stories designed to support social and emotional growth in ways that feel natural, warm, and story-first.

At their heart, these books explore friendship, empathy, boundaries, belonging, and emotional honesty, offering children language for big feelings while creating space for conversation, reflection, and connection. Whether shared in a classroom, library, or at home, these stories are meant to invite curiosity rather than deliver lessons, allowing children to see themselves in the characters and discover meaning at their own pace.

Educators and caregivers often use these stories as starting points for:

  • Talking about feelings and emotional awareness

  • Navigating friendships and changing relationships

  • Practicing empathy and perspective-taking

  • Exploring boundaries and self-trust

  • Encouraging kindness, courage, and resilience

Written with read-alouds in mind, the stories are designed to be accessible, comforting, and open-ended, leaving room for children to ask questions, share their own experiences, and return to the story again and again.

My work is shaped by caregiving, animal rescue, and years spent working in equity and inclusion. I believe that when children feel seen and understood, meaningful learning follows. My hope is that these stories serve not only as moments of enjoyment but as gentle tools for building understanding, compassion, and connection between children and the adults who support them.

Whether you’re an educator, librarian, or caregiver interested in using these stories in your classroom, library, or community, I’m grateful to be part of the conversations they inspire.

Educator and caregiver resources will be available once these books are published, including discussion prompts, reading comprehension check-ins, vocabulary lists, and art prompts designed for flexible use in classrooms and caregiving settings.
