Description
Oxford the Pig is a whimsical, emotionally intelligent picture-book series for children ages 4–8 that explores courage, friendship, belonging, and social growth through the gentle lens of farm-animal life.
At the center of the series is Oxford, a thoughtful pig who happens to be different. He can fly. Oxford is curious, kind, and reflective, and his stories invite young readers to explore big feelings and complex social dynamics without judgment.
The series expands into themes of identity, inclusion, emotional regulation, fairness, accessibility, leadership, allyship, and community. Topics such as disability, feminism, racial and cultural respect, and equity are handled through metaphor and lived experience rather than labels or instruction.
Oxford the Pig is a series about learning how to be yourself, how to be with others, and how to belong, in ways that feel kind, fair, and true. Click on a character to learn more.
